During the month of July, Pure+Simple is welcoming some ‘Fresh Canadian Brands’ to a month-long pop-up event in our spas to educate the public on natural skincare solutions.

Like us, the founders of these ‘Fresh Canadian’ companies were fed up with the skincare products on the market – the quality, safety, and effectiveness just wasn’t there in conventional brands. All of these ‘Fresh Canadian Brands’ use natural ingredients proven to clear inflammation and nourish the skin back to health.

In the case of Pure+Simple, company co-founders Jean Eng and Kristen Ma suffered from stubborn acne during their youth. Jean’s facial acne persisted into her 30’s, and she developed a trifecta of skin problems: acne, red blotchiness, and wrinkles. When her daughter Kristen reached puberty and her skin started breaking out as well, both mother and daughter realized they had something in common.
Having both suffered from acne, and trying one treatment after another, they learned in time that the so-called ‘miracle cures’ on the market simply didn’t work. That’s when Pure+Simple, an all-natural skincare company, came to life.

This summer, Pure+Simple is hosting several new ‘Fresh Canadian Brands’ to raise awareness about the emerging skincare products that are meeting the need for natural solutions in a beauty marketplace saturated with chemicals. Our ‘Fresh Canadian Brands’ event runs until July 31, and there was a Customer Event on July 8 to kick off the arrival of the brands on our shelves. Founders of the Fresh Canadian Brands will be available on-site to educate consumers about natural beauty and their products.
